Effective 5 November 2026
Tedium is a journaling app for iPhone. By using it you agree to these terms.
Writing new entries in Tedium requires an auto-renewable subscription: $3.99 per week or $14.99 per year (prices may vary by region). The yearly plan starts with a 1-week free trial for new subscribers; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid yearly subscription. The weekly plan is charged from the start. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings. Reading, searching, and exporting entries you have already written stays free forever, subscribed or not.
Your journal entries belong to you. They are stored on your device and in your personal iCloud; we have no copy and claim no rights over them. You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure.
The artworks in Tedium are public-domain works reproduced from open-access museum collections. Museum and artwork names are shown for attribution and education.
Use Tedium only as a personal journal and in compliance with applicable law and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Tedium is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
